Leanna and Ben's Wedding

Leanna and Ben were married July at the Ball Conference Center. Cedar Creek Photography had the privilege to photograph Leanna's brother's wedding last summer and now hers as well. Leanna and Ben are such a wonderful couple and their wedding party was such a blast to work with. I've mentioned in previous blogs about my trick to get people to smile and laugh and this group has been my shining stars so far! We took everyone around KC for some really awesome photography. We went to Liberty Memorial, Loose Park, Ward Pkwy Fountain, a cute little lake in Olathe, and ended up back at the Ball Conference Center for the ceremony and reception.

My dad and I have been working with our grunge look some more. The Moulin Rouge feel!! The more we use it, the more I am liking it. It's unique and warm and at times enchanting! Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys viewing some of my favorites from Ben and Leanna's wedding!

New wedding Style for Cedar Creek Photography

Hi All!! I just finally finished some new special effects on a wedding Cedar Creek Photography shot in June. Kalli and Dan were the perfect couple to try these on! They are so cute and energetic and so loving and sweet! Imagine what kind of people you must be to be four things all as once?!? Dan and Kalli's wedding was at the Church of the Nativity and reception was at the Overland Park Marriott. Both places were absolutely beautiful. After the ceremony, we took the couple and their wedding party to Kauffman Gardens for some outdoor shots then went to the Ward Parkway Fountain for more playful shots!

The special effects are a grunge look and unique color skews. Dan worded the style perfectly: kinda Moulin Rouge! They loved their images and I couldn't be happier! Give me some feedback on what you think about the style! I hope you all enjoy them as much as Kalli, Dan, and I do!!

Bridal Extraordinaire Bridal Show

We recently had a booth at the KC Weddings Bridal Extraordinaire! My dad and I had such a good time meeting all the new brides for next year as well as meeting some of our past brides as well! We were fortunate enough to have three of our past and current brides swing in and give us their love! Thank you, Erin, Jessica and Abby! I also want to thank Danay for helping us at the show and introducing Cedar Creek Photography to those who did not know us.
